Pakistan & the Climate Crisis:
A Call for Community-Led Action

Despite contributing less than 1% to global emissions, Pakistan is among the world’s most climate-vulnerable countries. From deadly floods and droughts to glacial melt and declining crop yields, the impact is staggering. The 2022 floods alone affected 33 million people and caused $30 billion in damages. Climate change is now costing Pakistan an estimated $38 billion annually, threatening both livelihoods and long-term development.
